Blisters and sore fingers.
You don't like slipping shoes.
Many people may feel that pumps and heels are especially prone to blisters.
You may be able to wear pumps and heels without blisters with the method I introduce.
Here are three causes of blisters and how to prevent them.
[Cause 1] The shoes are a little big.
One of the causes of blisters is that the shoes are slightly oversized.
Shoe blisters are caused by friction between the shoe and the skin of the foot.
When choosing shoes, don't you choose a larger size because you are worried that it will hurt if it is tight?
Wearing shoes that are a little too big can create a gap in the heel and cause blisters, or the foot can slip forward and cause pain in the toes.
[Countermeasures] Know the perfect size.
First, measure your feet to find out the size that fits perfectly without any gaps between your feet and the shoes.
<How to measure by yourself>
You can check the measurement method here .

[Cause 2] Shoes are not familiar.
If there is no gap between your shoes and your feet, but you still have blisters, your shoes may not be comfortable.
New shoes are in a state where the glue and materials have hardened.
In the case of a semi-custom order, it is especially hard because no one other than the customer who ordered it puts their feet in it.
In order to be able to walk in new shoes all day without blisters, it is necessary to "break in" them.
[Countermeasures] Get used to it.
<How to use a hair dryer to quickly blend in>
① Wear socks and put on shoes.
② Apply a hair dryer to the cramped part.
*If you keep the dryer on the same place for a long time or bring it too close to your shoes, it may damage the leather or burn your feet, so keep it at least 15 cm away.
③ Take off your socks and try on the style you want to wear (bare feet, tights, etc.).
④Repeat steps ① to ③ until the cramped feeling disappears in ③.
Using a shoe stretcher can also help.
<Other ways to get used quickly >
・If you feel cramped while wearing shoes while sitting indoors, etc., take them off repeatedly until the feeling of cramping disappears.
・Repeat walking within 30 minutes for about a week.
[Cause 3] There are calluses and bumps.
If the causes 1 and 2 do not apply, please check the part that causes the blisters. Are there any octopuses or bumps?
The parts that often cause blisters become calluses and bumps, and the rubbing of those parts or the pulling of the fabric can lead to chronic blisters.
[Countermeasure] Extend. Reduce friction.
Use the "shoe stretcher" to stretch the calluses and bumps. If you search for "shoe stretcher" on the internet, you will find many stores that carry it.
Alternatively, you may be able to protect your skin and reduce blisters by applying a "friction skin protection cream".
